Headshot of Sharon Mawet, podcast host

Sharon Mawet

It began with a challenge to say “yes” more often, to step out of my comfort zone and lean into opportunities. Then my good friend, Stacy, asked if I wanted to start a podcast. My first thought, “Oh no!” But I leaned in and… the answer? Yes!! That’s how A Dash of Salt was born.

I’m Sharon Mawet, your salty companion, here to dive into the seasons of life with you. With experience in consulting and higher education, I bring a unique blend of creativity and efficiency to everything I do. Whether it’s whipping up a new recipe, traveling the world, or streamlining processes, I’m passionate about leaving a positive impact—and this podcast is another way to do just that.

Stacy McCracken

Hi! I’m Stacy McCracken, co-host of “A Dash of Salt,” founder and CEO of Impact and Lead, and one half of the duo behind Two Salty Women. I grew up in a small town in Indiana (yes, the kind John Mellencamp sings about), but for over 20 years, Austin, Texas, has been home.

I’m a wife, mom, dog-mom, business owner, writer, adjunct professor, innovator, lifelong learner, and a recovering burned-out engineer. My professional career includes many industries from high-tech to car manufacturing to higher ed. That’s where I met my salty companion, Sharon, and I couldn’t be more grateful our paths crossed.

Though we’re different in many ways, Sharon and I share a deep connection, appreciate each other’s strengths, and most importantly, have a lot of fun together. “A Dash of Salt” was born from our desire to spend more time together, sharing our combined wisdom, experiences, and stories. So, I asked her to join me on this podcasting adventure, and she said, “YES!” I’m so glad you found us. We can’t wait to get to know you better.
